Well developed mountain skills are key to enjoying our challenging mountain environment in a safe, responsible and enjoyable manner.
We offer more than just your average navigation courses. Having the skills and ability to deal with inclement weather, poor visibility, the need to relocate, navigate in the dark, move safely on steep ground and deal with an emergency high on the hill are skills that we believe every walker and climber should have. On our courses we look at all of these skills and more.
This course will set the foundations for you to start to develop these skills.
An idea of the sort of content that we would look to cover on a one day navigation course is below. We also run a 2-day navigation course, which covers these topics in more depth and introduces some more advanced navigation skills.
This is a 1-day course that is run in the Fort William and Glencoe area. We run private bespoke tailored courses for just you or your group which means that you can learn at a speed that suits you, focusing more on the areas that you need to develop and spending less time on the areas where you are already proficient.
Price: This is the total amount shared by the whole private party.
We offer further discounts for larger groups too. Just contact us with your requirements.
We can run our private bespoke courses for individuals or for groups, at a time that suits you.
